An expressive church
At Trinity, we sing praises and prayers to God and tell of God's deeds through hymns, both traditional and contemporary Gospel songs, and soulful praise music. We rejoice in both choral and solo performances.
As Moses' sister Miriam danced after safe passage through the Red Sea, we sometimes express God's love for us and ours for God through liturgical dance.
The Trinity Lutherans are lively, reflective, determined, and joyful in our various musical offerings to God and community!
A liturgical church
Most Lutherans follow a specific order for worship, or a liturgy. Once you've experienced it a few times, you know what's coming!
Worship elements at Trinity Lutheran Church include corporate confession, scripture readings from the Old and New Testaments and Gospel, the sermon, a creed, intercessory prayers, and hymns.
Worship bulletins and the Evangelical Lutheran Worship service book guide us through the service at Trinity - but if you get lost, don't worry! We've all been there, and someone is always ready to help out guests.
A sacramental church
The Trinity Lutheran congregation considers the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion to be means by which God gives and strengthens faith in each of us.
In baptism, we are enfolded into the community of Christ Jesus and sealed with the cross of Christ, marked with the water of new life.
At the communion table, we remember Jesus' sacrifice for our sake and accept the living Christ through his spiritual presence in the bread and wine.

Lay Preachers Academy
Trinity's Lay Preachers Academy provides select interested members the chance to lead a worship service and deliver God's message in sermon format.
The lay preachers train under ordained pastors with long experience of interpreting and teaching the word of God. Candidates learn how to think deeply about the day's Gospel text, express their message in writing, and present it with sensitivity. Once graduated, each has the opportunity to "preach" at least twice a year.
For many years, the Good Friday service at Trinity Lutheran Church has followed the Seven Last Words of Christ from the cross, with lay preachers delivering short meditations on each of the "words."
Trinity Gospel Choir
Our Trinity Gospel Choir launched in 2024 and has established itself as a vibrant feature of Trinity's worship.
Twice a month, this spirited informal choir testifies through popular Christian music, from old-time Gospel to contemporary soul and praise songs. Lately, we've been drawn to using additional instruments, beyond our voices.
To God be the glory, and we thank God for the opportunity to raise our voices in a joyful anthem!
