A priesthood of believers

At Trinity Lutheran Church, we perform God's work with our hearts, minds, voices, and hands, building beloved community — within the congregation through study and prayer, and outside the church building through outreach and service ministries. We bring imagination, compassion, and enterprise to deepening our faith.

Our ministries

Adult Christian Education

Trinity's Sunday-morning Adult Bible Study at the church runs from September through June, starting at 9:15 a.m. The class studies books of the Holy Bible both in historical context and in terms of the message God is conveying to us here and now, in our lives.

We've also conducted roundtable discussions of specific challenges in the Christian life (forgiveness, hospitality) in our time, and we have studied the Passion of Christ and the meaning of Advent as illuminated by African American spirituals.

Roundtable discussions tend to fall during summer or the church seasons of Lent and Advent. They may be conducted at the church or via Zoom.

All are welcome!

Trinity Prayer Group

The Trinity Lutheran  Prayer Group currently meets via telephone conference line on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

We know God hears us and communicates with us, always — and desires us to approach and include God in all things. When we pray, we listen, we reflect, and we raise our petitions to God, who knows our hearts beyond our faltering words.

To focus each session, the Trinity Prayer Group draws from a Daily Bread text before expanding into prayers for ourselves and others. You may find Daily Bread texts here.

Anyone is welcome to submit a prayer request either via the Contact form on this website or a card in the offering plate at worship. You are also welcome to join the group without being a member — just contact us for the number and PIN!

Trinity Clothes Closet

Our Trinity Clothes Closet is open for FREE shopping at every Flea Market in the summer and at other times as specified.

We offer men's, women's, and children's gently used clothes, including shoes, belts, and suspenders, to any who may have need of them. Most clothing for adults is work suitable for job seekers and any in life transitions.

The Trinity Facebook page and our calendar here indicate times outside the Flea Markets that the Clothes Closet will be staffed. This is a relatively new ministry for us, which we're very excited to share with the community!

We will also post when we will be accepting donations again. The community's generosity has been overwhelming. Thanks be to God!
